LET THE TRUMPETS SOUND… IT’S CONVOCATION

Welcome to the 96th Annual Holy Convocation of the United House of Prayer For All People.

“Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.” (Leviticus 23:24)

We can gather for no greater purpose than to celebrate deliverance by the ultimate sacrifice of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ through the shedding of HIs blood on Calvary.

“For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.” (Matthew 26:28)

So let the bands come from far and near as the buses roll in loaded with singers, groups, and choirs to sing praises to our God. Dynamic speakers will preach the Word of God to save the lost. Baptisms will be conducted to purge sin from the soul. Parades, marches, celebrations, recreation, traditional booths with food, performing arts and displays will also be featured at different stops during the Convocation.

As the services each week are highlighted by our special guest, the Honorable Bishop C.M. Bailey, the glory of the Lord shall fill the room and just like the Pentecost Convocation, the Holy Ghost shall appear and it will sit upon them who are gathered on one accord in that place.

If you love praising God, you need to come. If you love good music, this is the place to be. If you need healing, a miracle will be there. If you need to be cleaned, the floodgates of heaven is about to open. If you love shouting and dancing, put on your dancing shoes. If you are a true worshipper, you must heed God’s call. If you want to be better, believe God’s prophet.

“Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.” (2 Chronicles 20:20)

“And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?” (Luke 24:32)

If you have been asking yourself, what must I do to be saved? This is your time to come, believe, and be baptized.

“Until Shiloh come; And unto him shall the gathering of the people be.” (Genesis 49:10)

The band is playing… it’s Convocation.
