A Prophet Dancing Before The Lord
With humility impossible to emulate, Daddy Madison leans towards the microphone without care of his posture and says, “I Love You. God fixed me that way. I don’t care what you have done. Come back to the mountain and God can save you.”
We watched as heaven’s music stirred and Daddy Madison moved with a grace that argues whether his feet were touching the floor. Then came the spin of his body and with that, a Pentecost moment filled the room as the Holy Ghost appeared and sat upon every soul that had a hint of belief in Jesus Christ. What happened next is usually not mentioned because everyone was taken away in the spirit and could only at that point witness to the presence of God’s power as no recorder could duplicate the sound amplified in our hearts, “Everybody Ought To Know Who Daddy Is.”
On April 5, 2008, the phone rang, and the music stopped momentarily, as we grasped the inevitable journey of Daddy Madison. When we began to wonder about the loss of the Worshipping Prophet, we heard a deeper voice begin to sing, “It’s In My Heart This Melody Of Love Divine.” Suddenly, we knew the music would never stop nor would our Love for Daddy Madison end. He placed in our hearts a new song, and yet, remains the same title: “Everybody Ought To Know Who Daddy Is.”
“And as the ark of the LORD came into the city of David, Michal Saul’s daughter looked through a window, and saw king David leaping and dancing before the LORD; ….” (2 Samuel 6:16).
Psalm 28:6–9 Blessed be the LORD, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications. The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him. The LORD is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed. Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up for ever.
