The United House of Prayer For All People ® was organized in After making a call for 500 new Junior Elders in 1967, the Honorable Bishop W. McCollough wrote a letter that stated in part, "I am setting up a special Ministers' school (in Richmond, VA) to educate you in the doctrine, rules and regulations of the organization and ceremonial performances which will prepare you for a Pastoral position. The ministers' school was opened the same year and named The McCollough Theological Seminary in honor of its founder, Sweet Daddy McCollough.
The Sunday School was established so that members and friends can gain knowledge of the word of God. Each week's lesson is designed to develop a greater understanding of the scriptures as they are combined to support a yearly subject. Consult Sunday School Book for Lesson Plan and References.
The Honorable Bishop Dr. W. McCollough founded the McCollough Scholarship College Fund (MSCF) of the United House of Prayer for All People of the Church on the Rock of the Apostolic Faith in 1971. It is a privately funded scholarship that has provided scholarships for thousands of students throughout the years.
LADY MADISON SCHOLASTIC ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
The Lady Madison Scholastic Achievement Award Program has reached thousands. This Program recognizes children over the course of a 12-week period with a group picture taken with Lady Madison as she arrives in their state or district. Children are pursuing college degrees at record numbers. Many are able to secure fully funded academic, athletic, and music scholarships [from some of the most prestigious schools in the nation as a result of their diligence in elementary, junior and then high schools. It doesn’t stop with the school-aged students. Adults are also pursuing continuous education in greater numbers. The United House of Prayer is a front runner in encouraging academic excellence for all.
