"It is the goal of the Seminary to equip each student with the basic fundamentals, skills and knowledge to enhance his performance, increase his growth and develop his full potential in the Ministry."
The United House of Prayer For All People ® Theological Seminary was organized by Bishop W. McCollough. After making a call for 500 new Junior Elders in 1967, the Honorable Bishop W. McCollough wrote a letter that stated in part, "I am setting up a special ministers' school (in Richmond, VA) to educate you in the doctrine, rules and regulations of the organization, and ceremonial performances, which will prepare you for a Pastoral position. The ministers' school was opened the same year and named The McCollough Theological Seminary in honor of its founder, Sweet Daddy McCollough.
Many elders have attended the seminary during the administrations of Bishop W. McCollough,
Bishop S. C. Madison, Bishop C. M. Bailey, and the now current Bishop and Chancellor, the Honorable Bishop A. D. Cunningham.
