(July 12, 2024) All are invited to a 7:00 pm service on Saturday, July 13, 2024 as The United House of Prayer for All People ® will dedicate a new church edifice at 6316 Kenwood Avenue, Rosedale, Maryland 21237. After a long delay working with state and local officials, Bishop A.D. Cunningham and The United House of Prayer completed construction on this never financed, debt-free 10,000 square foot, brick and glass, ultra-modern house of worship. This is the 137th United House of Prayer edifice in the country and will house a growing congregation, which previously held services in a storefront in Essex, Maryland. This dedicatory service marks the second of the tenure of Bishop Cunningham, in only his 274th day as national head of a far reaching, coast-to-coast Christian organization.

“When I inherited the work of completing The House of Prayer in Rosedale, Maryland upon the passing of the late-Bishop C.M. Bailey, I felt his heavenly nudge and inspiration to complete this item on the agenda for the people of God,” said Bishop Cunningham. “I welcome the entire community to come worship with us as we dedicate this new edifice, the house of the living God.”

The United House of Prayer for All People ® edifice in Rosedale, Maryland, which seats 200, features a 15-foot slope from the front of the site to the rear, allowing for a dramatic two-story open sanctuary brought alive by natural light. Once a parishioner enters the front doors, they are greeted by a stunning view of the entire sanctuary. The front entrance is emblazoned with the traditional three crosses, two golden angels, and two Lions of Judah while the sanctuary is fronted by a visually stunning replica of the biblical Ark of the Covenant. The social hall, kitchen, offices, and conference room all boast state-of-the-art features.
